Minimum wage in Ethiopia

Ethiopia has no general statutory minimum wage. Pay floors come from collective agreements or sector rules; see the notes and any sector rows below.

No statutory minimum wage for the private sector. Labour Proclamation 1156/2019 provides for a wage board to set one, but none has been fixed. Public servants have a civil-service pay floor (not published here). Status per WageIndicator and ILO.
