Minimum wage in North Korea

North Korea has no general statutory minimum wage. Pay floors come from collective agreements or sector rules; see the notes and any sector rows below.

Note only. The Democratic People's Republic of Korea publishes no general statutory minimum wage: wages are set by the state under the Socialist Labour Law, and no official figure or legal text is available to cite. The only published minimum was the Kaesong Industrial Complex wage floor for North Korean workers of South Korean firms (Kaesong Industrial District Labour Regulations, in US dollars per month), which lapsed when the complex closed in February 2016.
