Minimum wage in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has no general statutory minimum wage. Pay floors come from collective agreements or sector rules; see the notes and any sector rows below.

No general statutory minimum wage for the private sector (the Labour Law lets the Council of Ministers set one but none has been set). The widely cited SAR 4,000 per month is the wage at which a Saudi national counts as one full employee toward Nitaqat Saudization quotas (lower wages count partially); WageIndicator (secondary, 2026-09-26) lists it as SAR 4,000 from 19 November 2024. It is a quota-counting threshold, not a pay floor; no row is published because no HRSD page stating the figure was found.
