Salário mínimo nacional (retribuição mínima mensal garantida, art. 4.º of Decreto-lei n.º 6/2014) for workers under the Código Laboral. Published: 11.000$00 from 1 January 2014 (DL 6/2014), 13.000$00 from 1 January 2018 (DL 15/2018), 14.000$00 from 1 January 2023 (Lei 16/X/2022), 15.000$00 from 1 January 2024 (Lei 35/X/2023), 17.000$00 from 1 January 2025 (Lei 45/X/2024). The 2026 State Budget law (Lei 69/X/2025) commits to 25.000 ECV from 2027 (not published: a commitment, no fixed date). Public administration minimum pay is separate and not covered.
