Notes on this jurisdiction's rules and sources

Haryana notifies one schedule of minimum rates of wages for all employments in the State (unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled, highly skilled; monthly and daily, daily = monthly / 26), no zones. The April 9, 2026 notification under section 8(3) of the Code on Wages, 2019 revised the basic rates with effect from April 1, 2026 (previous full revision October 21, 2015); until then the rates were adjusted by dearness allowance every January 1 and July 1. The 2026 rates are basic rates that cannot be split into allowances, with 100% neutralisation of consumer price index changes as prescribed in the Code on Wages Rules, 2026.
