National monthly minimum wage for private-sector employees set by Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare notice (Labour Law 2013, Art. 111): 2,500,000 kip per month from 1 October 2024 (previously 1,600,000 kip), plus a 900,000 kip subsistence allowance for unskilled workers that is not part of the wage. In March 2026 the National Labour Committee reviewed proposals for a new rate, to be announced within 2026; no announcement found as of 2026-09-27.
