وبعد صدور المرسوم الرسمي رقم 699 تاريخ 18/7/2025 المتعلّق بتعيين الحدّ الأدنى الرسمي لأجور المستخدمين والعمال الخاضعين لقانون العمل ونسبة غلاء معيشة والمنشور في الجريدة الرسمية عدد 32 تاريخ 24/7/2025، أصدر المدير العام للصندوق الوطني للضمان الاجتماعي، الدكتور محمد كركي، مذكّرة إعلاميّة بتاريخ 1/8/2025 حملت الرقم 801 قضى بموجبها احتساب الإشتراكات في الصندوق للمؤسسات والفئات الخاصّة وفق الحدّ الأدنى الرسمي الجديد للأجور البالغ 28 مليون ل.ل. كالتالي: أولاً: اعتبارا من 1/8/2025 ومن أجل احتساب اشتراكات المؤسسات: يحدد الحد الأدنى للأجر الشهري ب 28 مليون ل.ل. والحد الأدنى الرسمي للأجر اليومي 1 300 000 ل.ل.

Official minimum wage (الحد الأدنى الرسمي للأجور) for employees under the Labour Code, set by Council of Ministers decree on the Index Committee's recommendation, in Lebanese pounds (LBP). Decree 699 of 18 July 2025 (Official Gazette 32, 24 July 2025): LBP 28,000,000 per month and LBP 1,300,000 per day from 1 August 2025. The previous rate, LBP 9,000,000 per month (daily 410,000), approved 18 April 2023, has no row yet because no official text with its effective date is on file. In September 2026 the Index Committee was discussing a further increase; no new decree has been issued.
