Salaire minimum d'embauche (SME), set by decree for the lowest professional category, for the general (non-agricultural, 173.33 h/month) and agricultural (200 h/month) regimes. Published from the CNaPS SME history (monthly and hourly, 2008 onward); current: Ar 300,000/month general and Ar 304,300/month agricultural from 1 March 2026. The press reports a second step to Ar 315,000 from October 2026 (décret n° 2026-1352, published 29 June 2026); not published because no official text stating it was reachable (Ministry site does not resolve, GEM copy is members-only, CNaPS table does not list it yet). Higher categories are not covered.
