Notes on this jurisdiction's rules and sources

Minimum wage set by Council of Ministers decision on the recommendation of the National Wages Committee under Labour Law No. (7) of 2000. Amounts are in Israeli new shekels (ILS), the currency in use. The monthly minimum applies in all areas and sectors; the daily and hourly minimums apply to day labourers (irregular daily work) and seasonal workers. Decision 4/2021 raised the monthly minimum from NIS 1,450 (Decision 11/2012, from 1 January 2013) to NIS 1,880 from the beginning of 2022; enforcement in Gaza has been limited.
