Notes on this jurisdiction's rules and sources

Law No. 17 of 2020 and Ministerial Decision No. 25 of 2020 set a non-discriminatory minimum basic wage of QAR 1,000 per month for all workers including domestic workers, in force 20 March 2021. Employers that do not provide adequate housing or food must also pay at least QAR 500 a month for housing and QAR 300 for food; these allowances are separate entitlements, not part of the row. No later decision changing the amount was found as of 2026-09-27 (WageIndicator, secondary, still lists QAR 1,000).
