Sector minimum wages for the private sector in Mainland Tanzania under Labour Institutions Act s 39. GN 605A of 2025 (in force 1 January 2026) replaced GN 687 of 2022. Published: monthly rates for any unspecified sector and crop/animal agriculture (TZS 175,000), other domestic workers (80,000), trade/business (200,500), industrial (200,000); some 35 other sub-sector rates and the hourly-to-fortnightly equivalents are not published. Zanzibar sets its own minimum wage (not covered).
